Are you exploring or majoring in Art, Communication, English, Graphic Design, Languages, Music, Philosophy, or Religion? If so, this new student orientation is for you. You will -

• Meet with an advisor to review your placement assessment, select classes, and register for fall term
• Get help completing your financial aid and learn about additional resources to pay for college
• Get set up with Chemeketa's required technology for student success
• Learn best practices and use the various academic support resources to help you succeed

In addition, you will -

• Engage with Arts, Humanities and Communications (AHC) faculty and other new students majoring in this pathway
• Participate in AHC interactive workshops
• Learn about the various AHC career pathways at Chemeketa

If you haven't completed your placement assessment, be sure to do so at least five business days before your AHC orientation.  This will ensure you can meet with the advisor and register for classes.

This is a two-day orientation. Plan to attend both days.
